WORLD BIRDING
CENTER
Mission is headquarters to the WORLD BIRDING CENTER, which has nine designated sites that will protect wildlife habitat throughout the Rio
Grande Valley. The World Birding Center will promote public awareness and the need for wildlife and environmental conservation through projects
and programs that will include state of the art environmental education through ongoing seminars, conferences, classes, tours and exhibits.

Birding will be the centerpiece of the programming as almost 500 species have been documented in this unique area.
