This picturesque Gothic Revival style church, a historic monument in Alamo, was completed in 1924 on land donated by Alamo Land & Sugar
Company.

Over the years the building has served as a church, community center, and hurricane shelter. Today it is used for training and stands next to the
Diocese of Brownsville Bishop’s Residence.
